Victron 250/100 Smart MPPT for Residential solar, Commercial and, Off-grid and hybrid is engineered for flexible integration in both residential and commercial solar systems across Uganda. Supporting low voltage (LV) battery banks at 12V, 24V, 36V (manual), and 48V, it accommodates a wide range of system designs and scales. The inverter’s advanced MPPT technology ensures maximum energy harvest from PV arrays up to 5.8kW at 48V, with a rated charge current of 100A. Eight pre-programmed and user-defined charging algorithms, combined with temperature compensation, optimise battery health and performance. The unit is suitable for both single phase and multi-phase applications, and can be paralleled for higher capacity using VE.Can or Bluetooth. Built-in protections against PV reverse polarity, output short circuit, and over-temperature enhance system safety. Data connectivity via VE.Can, VE.Direct, and Bluetooth allows for remote monitoring and configuration, while compliance with EN/IEC 62109-1 and UL 1741 ensures adherence to international safety standards. The inverter is designed for indoor, unconditioned environments, making it ideal for Uganda’s varied installation sites.
